Radio presenter Jim McLeod has been the Australian voice of Jazz for some 48 years and has returned to PBS 106.7FM where he now presents Jazz on Saturday - a 2 hour jazz specialist program. Entertainment Now have just become business supporters of Jim's show.

In a welcome letter to founder of Entertainment Now, Jeremy LaBrooy, PBS membership manager Monica Hanns said, "Thank you for supporting PBS by jumping on board and becoming a Business member to Jazz on Saturday! Your support provides the station with a strong foundation to support and promote music not often heard elsewhere, as well as helping musicians to build and develop audiences."

Entertainment Now is a proud business sponsor of PBS FM and Jazz on Saturday.

Media Release

Twenty per cent savings on entertainment for corporate gigs, weddings or parties is just one reason Entertainmentnow.com.au has captured consumers’ imagination.

According to website founder Jeremy LaBrooy, clients save the cash they traditionally paid event organisers while member artists get extra work because of the high quality exposure and reviews.

The relaunched site now allows member artists to upload their own video, photos and music – and for signed in clients to write reviews, read ‘how-to’ articles on organising corporate events, weddings or children’s parties.

“When we founded this site in 2004 it was the market innovator. However, demand from our clients has driven a complete overhaul – and the feedback from member artists and their clients has been terrific,” Jeremy said.

“Member artists love that Entertainmentnow.com.au is essentially their website for just $9 per month on a six month basis, or $19 if they don’t want to commit. The cost self-selects out amateurs to a certain extent.

“For clients, the site is absolutely free. And I am noticing an exciting innovation, where people are effectively using the site to ‘tender’ their events on the Jobs&Gigs tab. I expect this will be very popular as we head towards the crazy Christmas season as organisations look to get the right entertainers at the right price.

“Entertainmentnow.com.au is essentially a meeting point for entertainers and those who want to be entertained. It is a match-maker that is cost effective and reliable as well as a place of innovation in an industry which has changed little over the years.”
