A song written when Mark was 16 looking out over thd Dandenongs and hoping one day it will be left for his daughter and many generations to come.

Mark is a seasoned Multi-instrumental , Singer / Songwriter ,performer and entertainer. Often nicknamed as “Sergeant Trouser” or “trouserboy” as he has played in many bands including “Bricks and Mortar” and “Sergeant Trouser and currently “The Broken Sweethearts”gaining much support as well as performing alongside Swannee , Chris Wilson and Alan Barnes gaining much experience.

Mark is currently No.2 on the Reverbnation Singer /Songwriter Charts for Victoria and top 10 for Australia and has currently released his new EP “The Great Divide” as produced by Brian Canham  (Pseudo Echo,Brill,Anthony Calea) and mastered by Martin Pullan at Edensound Mastering at Armstrong Studios in Sth Melbourne featuring 6 tracks on the CD and if you download it off Itunes you get 7 tracks and if you download it off band camp website you get 8 tracks.Mark recently Performed at Federation Square  “Where the floddy hell are you?” flood relief.

Mark also performed at Gunbower Hotel for the Victorian Floods Volunteers for H2O fest.

Mark has also performed at various festivals and volunteered to assist fellow artists and bands at community festivals including The Bendigo Blues and Rock Festival in 2008 & 2009 and The Basin Music Festival 2009-2012.Mark has also performed at The Pepper tree Festival in Bendigo and and The Sonic Arts Festival in Bendigo in 2009 & 2010. He also peformed at the Long Live Live Music fest in Bendigo in 2010 and Peaches and Cream festival in Moama NSW in 2009,Rupanyup Dirt music festival and The StKilda Festival.

Mark was also The Honorary Secretary of The Croydon Brass Band in 2005 and 2006, President and Vice President of The Independent Musos Network in 2008 and 2009 and The Basin Music Festival Secretary and Committee member in 2007,2008,2009.

Mark plays  mainly 6 instruments-Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Harmonica, Keyboards, Brass-Trumpet, Euphonium,sings.

The “trouserboy” has played in front of mixed audiences including 100 to a football crowd of 20,000 fans at The Hawthorn Football Club Family Day and Grand Final Celebration Day in 2008 with CROWSFEET and Mark has also performed solo and acoustically at various venues including: Don’t Tell Tom-Brunswick, The Corner Hotel-Richmond, Hopscotch, The Shamrock Hotel –Bendigo, The Windermere Hotel- Bendigo, The Criterion Hotel(Top Pub)- Rushworth, The United Kingdom Hotel- Bendigo, The Noise Bar- Brunswick, Paddy’s Tavern-Ferntree Gully, The Basin Music Festival 2006,2007,2008,2009,2010,2011,Sorchfest 2010 and 2011,Peaches and Cream festival – Moama, The Bendigo Rock and Blues Festival 2008 and again in 2009 playing as a guest trumpet with local band The Vagrants & Ska outfit Loonee Tunes.

Mark has also played trumpet and arranged brass parts for Indie bands such as Veil, Farook, Parker and recently performed at The Hi Fi Bar with a 4 piece brass section for The Vagranst CD launch.
